Today's Classwork / Homework



Language Arts:
- We did not have Language Arts today.



Math:
- Students completed their math test for Chapter 10, the last chapter of this school year. These tests were corrected and passed back to students by the end of the day.


Science:
- Students worked on their Variety of Life slideshows.
- Students worked on their Evolution of Life slideshows.
- Students worked on their Endangered Species slideshows.
* Students are asked to bring in a small sample of bog water or pond water. We will be making slides with these water samples and looking at them under a microscope.


Social Studies:
- We did not have Social Studies today.

Today's Classwork / Homework



Language Arts:
- Students worked on a demand writing piece around the theme "How I wish I could spend my summer vacation".
- Students worked on their reading comprehension. All reading comprehension lessons must be pasted in by Friday.



Math:
- We corrected ##1-6 on page 336 & 337.
- We discussed Lesson 4 (pages 334 & 335) and did #1 on page 336 as a class.
- Students worked on #2-4 on page 339.
- Students worked on #1-6 on pages 343-344.
- We corrected #2-4 on page 339 and #1-6 on pages 343-344.
- We discussed and reviewed all the concepts on tomorrow's Math test.
- Math test Thursday, June 16.


Science:
- Students worked on their Field Notes Assignment.
- Students worked on their Variety of Life slideshows.
- Students worked on their Evolution of Life slideshows.
- Students worked on their Endangered Species slideshows.

- There are only three of students that are not finished their writing process pieces and have to rewrite to make their work "gradable". These students will be completing this work during class time over the next several days.
- Students worked on their reading comprehension. Those students who have not completed and passed in up to Lesson 20 must do so as soon as possible.
- Students worked on journal entries.


Math:
- We corrected  #2-9 on pages 330 & 331 and the Mid-Chapter Review #1, 3, 4, & 5 on page 333
- We discussed Lesson 3 (pages 334 & 335) and did #1 on page 336 as a class.
- Students worked on #1-6 on page 336 & 337. Those not finishing in class time are to do so for HOMEWORK.
- Math test Thursday, June 16.

- We discussed and did "Getting Started" on pages 324 & 325.

- Students completed the Number Operations and Mental Math sections of the Provincial Common Assessment. Tomorrow we will be doing the Patterns and Relations section, as well as the Shape and Space section of the Common Assessment.
